Watching Speaking – Mixed Media Painting
I was inspired to paint this piece while reading Nineteen Eighty Four by George Orwell. It’s 8×10 on wood panel and only 15 bucks! Get it in my Etsy Shop.
Thinking Machine
The title of this painting is Thinking Machine. It’s painted on cardboard that I prepared with strips of newspaper. I used an image transfer of a walkway I saw while out on a morning walk. Grab this little artwork in my Etsy Shop.
Loosen Up – Smaller Abstract Works
In an effort to loosen up my painting style I’ve decided to do a series of small abstract works and post them each day. Here’s the first! I was originally going to use modeling paste only to find out it had dried up in the container and the art store was closed! Luckily I’ve been repainting my house and had some spackling paste handy. It actually worked better than modeling paste!
This little painting measures 4×5 inches and it’s up in my Etsy shop. I plan on listing these little artworks for just $10 so if you see something you like scoop it up!
Paint Day!
It’s paint day! I’m all set up and staring at my blank canvas. Sometimes it tells me where to go, sometimes it doesn’t. We’ll see what happens today.
